Cat is an urban designer and a Junior Consultant at the Townscape Consultancy. She previously worked as a Heritage and Design Officer in the place-shaping team at Tower Hamlets, where she was reviewing the status of several conservation areas and updating their appraisal and management plans according to NPPF policy. She also, upgraded design guidance for mansard roof extensions in those conservation areas to address the public’s need for extra space, whilst providing advice about permissible development. Prior to the public sector, Cat has previous townscape and heritage experience working at Citydesigner and as an architect’s assistant in a small private practice in Northern Ireland.
Cat has a BA (hons) in Architecture from Belfast School of Architecture at Ulster University and an MA in Urban and Rural Design from Queens University Belfast.
