
Cat is an urban designer and a Junior Consultant at the Townscape Consultancy, with significant experience in both public and private sector architectural and townscape projects. In her previous role as a Heritage and Design Officer within the place-shaping team at Tower Hamlets, she was instrumental in reviewing the status of various conservation areas and updating their appraisal and management plans in line with NPPF policy. She enhanced design guidance for mansard roof extensions in these areas to meet the public’s demand for additional space while offering advice on permissible development.
Before her tenure in the public sector, Cat gained valuable experience as an architect’s assistant in a small private practice in Northern Ireland. She holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Belfast School of Architecture at Ulster University and an MA in Urban and Rural Design from Queen’s University Belfast.
