Rossana is an urban planner and urban designer from the Bartlett School of Planning with over 9 years of experience working as a built environment professional. After working in Lima as a project manager and planner, she has specialised in providing advice in the areas of heritage, townscape and urban design in London. Previous experience includes working in other planning and townscape firms, where she worked on a range of projects across London, Bristol, Manchester and Dublin.

Rossana joined The Townscape Consultancy in 2021 as a senior consultant. During her time at TTC she has focused on providing townscape and heritage advice at pre-app or feasibility stage for a range of projects across the London boroughs. Her work includes developing tall buildings strategies, townscape characterisation studies, heritage research for designated and non-designated assets and visual impact studies. Her day-to-day also includes developing planning documents for ES and non-ES applications such as Heritage, Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (HTVIAs) or Heritage Statements for Listed Building Consent applications. Rossana has also assisted Expert Witnesses in Public Inquiries.

 

Past Projects:

  • 85 Gracechurch Street, City of London – a new mixed-use tall building in the City’s cluster, within the Leadenhall Market Conservation Area, with Woods Bagot for Hertshten Group.
  • Angel Square, Islington – a new office building above Angel Underground Station, retaining the structure of the existing building, with AHMM for Tishman Speyer.
  • 100 Gray’s Inn Road, LB Camden – 9 storey redevelopment in the Hatton Garden Conservation Area next to Gray’s Inn Gardens establishing the UK’s largest timber office structure by Piercy & Co.
  • St Mary le Port, Bristol – A large mixed-use development at St Mary le Port, Bristol, with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios for MEPC.
  • 1 Leadenhall Street, City of London – 37-storey office tower with Make Architects for Brookfield Property Partners.
  • Station Road, New Southgate, Enfield – Two residential towers of 14 and 19 storeys at the junction of Station Road and North Circular Road, for City and Suburban Homes.
