Sally studied History at the University of St Andrews and is currently undertaking a master’s degree in Building History at the University of Cambridge. Her modules include ‘Building Analysis & Recording’ and ‘Landscape & Area Assessment’. She is currently writing a dissertation on the subject of Queen Street Mill, a late-Victorian cotton weaving mill in Lancashire.
Sally worked previously for the Property Section of the Royal Household where she supported surveyors, engineers, and project managers with their work. She joined The Townscape Consultancy as a Junior Consultant in May 2023 and was promoted to Consultant in April 2024. In her new role she produces Heritage Statements and Heritage, Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments for a variety of projects across London, something she thoroughly enjoys.
