Sally studied History at the University of St Andrews and is currently undertaking a master’s degree in Building History at the University of Cambridge. Her modules include ‘Building Analysis & Recording’ and ‘Landscape & Area Assessment’. She is working on a dissertation about the industrial cotton mills of East Lancashire and their adaptive reuse.
Sally worked previously for the Property Section of the Royal Household, where she supported surveyors, engineers, and Project Managers with their work. At The Townscape Consultancy she assists consultants with their reports by conducting research in archives across London, something she thoroughly enjoys.
