Dorset House is a locally listed early 20th-century building with historic interest linked to the local print works and architectural interest reflected in its stripped classical elevations.

TTC completed a Heritage Impact Assessment for Dorset House at 27–45 Stamford Street, Southwark, to support proposals by Whitbread Group PLC for the change of use from office accommodation to hotel use. The assessment considered relevant above-ground heritage assets and demonstrated how the proposed replacement windows, mansard roof works, entrance alterations and associated changes complied with relevant Development Plan policies.
