The Site, partially within the Soho Conservation area, fronts Oxford Street to the north, Berwick Street to the west and Wardour Street to the east. It comprises a number of buildings, including the grade II listed Ilford House. The scheme, which maintains the distinct character of the three built frontages, integrates retained elements of the Ilford House, as well as the facades and roofscape of Berwick House, and the street façade of no. 199 Wardour Street as part of a high-quality retail and commercial building. The new frontage to Oxford Street has a strong character, derived from the mix of old and new elevations.
