Built Heritage

The redevelopment of a narrow terraced house (the last remaining of its terrace) within the Charlotte Street Conservation Area. The building on site was originally built in the 18th century as part of the development of the area, but was refaced and extended in the 20th century to such a degree that many of the elements were not characteristic of the original building, or other terraces of a similar age in the area. The new scheme comprises an eight storey building with affordable workspace at ground floor level and residential units to the upper floors.
