Elizabeth House, Westminster

The site, located immediately west of Waterloo Mainline Railway Terminus Station, comprises an entire urban block with the Elizabeth House complex, a 1960s tower and slab development designed by J G L Poulson. The redevelopment proposal will deliver a distinctive new building, with world class office space on a highly constrained site, as well as significantly enhanced routes to and from the station. The architectural composition was carefully considered, and the stepped curving south fa├žade has been designed with particular attention to its appearance in views from Parliament Square.
