Elizabeth House, Lambeth

London Borough of Lambeth

The site, located immediately west of Waterloo Mainline Railway Terminus Station, comprises an entire urban block with the Elizabeth House complex, a 1960s tower and slab development designed by J G L Poulson. The redevelopment proposal will deliver a distinctive new building, with world class office space on a highly constrained site, as well as significantly enhanced routes to and from the station. The architectural composition was carefully considered, and the stepped curving south façade has been designed with particular attention to its appearance in views from Parliament Square.
